GeraldFLANAGANPassed away peacefully after a brief period of illness, Thursday 6th March, 2025, aged 88 years. Gerald was born in and loved Oranmore, Co. Galway, where he grew up with a large family of brothers and sisters, and their parents, James and Julia. Moving to England in the 1950s and settling in Moston, Gerry is survived by his wife Bridget and sons, Kieron and Martin, and their partners Elvira and Ruth. His sister Christina and many fond nieces and nephews survive him also.

Gerald will be received into St Dunstan's RC Church on Thursday 3rd April at 10.00am for a requiem mass, followed by a short private family committal.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either of the following charities that involve causes about which Gerry was passionate: HEROS (retraining and rehoming ex-racehorses) - justgiving.com/heros ; or Irish Community Care in Manchester- www.irishcommunitycare.com/donate
