Jago was such a lovely lad, with a wicked sense of humour. I will never forget the fact that he took the time to come and see me when I retired. He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing him.

What words can actually be said about a fantastic guy, Jago you were such a pleasure to be around and a truly talented rugby player. You were so good with Luke helping when he 1st started the mens section and teaching him. Thank you. You will be missed

Am so glad I knew you Jago, we last met in North Wales last year and am so pleased we had a photo in our judo kits together. You would have continued to excel in your judo and rugby and academic achievements, but sadly it was not to be. However, your courage and determination throughout your illness has been an inspiration to all of us and you have left behind a legacy and example to all of us. You were a fine young man from a loving family and made the most of your short life. Thank you for your friendship.

Jago, you wore the badge of Waterloo on your chest with pride every time we played and although I'm 10 years senior you taught me so much about the game of rugby so thank you.

I’ll never forget the time I asked you to help me practice catching kick-offs before training. I asked you to make the first one easy—and you launched the ball so high it disappeared above the floodlights. As I dropped it, you laughed at me and said, “but that was an easy one!” yet regardless of my inability to catch I could count on you before every training to help me practice.

You were a teammate, a teacher, and a friend.

I’m going to miss you, mate.

Jago you will be forever missed in this world that has so cruelly taken you at such a young age.
A truly fantastic young man who showed so much strength in his life that shone so brightly.

An absolutely amazing young man that brought so much life into everything he did. The world is a darker place without his wonderful outlook on life and amazing talents. I will always treasure the laughs and fun we had at the British GP with Jago in 2022 and 2023 xxx
