The obituary notice of Christine FOWLER (McBeth)

Dr Chris Fowler was a great colleague and friend. I have stated the following in my LinkedIn post about Chris:

"I would like to acknowledge the outstanding support and collaboration of colleagues across Airbus, particularly the late Dr Chris Fowler (pictured). Chris was consistently supportive of both my students and our collaborative activities. I first met Chris at the International Conference on Manufacturing Research (ICMR 2006) in Liverpool, and from that moment she became a valued collaborator and colleague. Throughout the years, she was consistently generous with her time, expertise, and encouragement, always willing to fund student projects and strengthen links between academia and industry.

In 2022, Chris kindly accepted my invitation to deliver a guest lecture at Nazarbayev University. Sadly, she passed away before she was able to give the talk. Her dedication, generosity, and commitment to supporting future generations of engineers continue to be remembered and greatly appreciated."

I can’t believe it’s 1 year since you left us. It feels like a lifetime and the pain is still so raw. We miss you so very much, we wish we had more time with you. My beautiful talented, loving sister, auntie and sister in law. Always together even when parted. Life can be so cruel and unfair.
