MargaretFRANCISof Rookery Nook Villas, Broadclough, Bacup, died peacefully at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday, November 13, aged 83. Born in Britannia, she had lived in Bacup all of her life. Margaret was employed at E Suttone & Co Ltd in Bacup from 1952 until her retirement in 1993. She enjoyed walking in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Ribble Valley and Norfolk. She leaves her husband of 62 years, Harry, brother Donald Heyworth, sister-in-law Kathleen, brother-in-law Jack, five nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Donations welcome in memory of Margaret to the Stroke Association. A service was held at the chapel of rest on Tuesday, November 26 at 12.40pm, followed by cremation at Burnley at 1.30pm, conducted by Rev David Burrow.
