"Absent from the body, present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8) It is with extreme sadness yet with great joy we announce the passing of a faithful man of God, surrounded by his three sons at the Royal Derby Hospital. Faithfully served as an Elder at New Life Church for 50 years. Husband of the late Adeline Francis (d.1980). Much loved Dad of Ackley, Philip and Andrew. Father-in-law, Grandad, Great-Grandad, Uncle and loyal friend. Celebration of George's life to be held at New Life Church, Normanton Road, Derby, DE23 6UU on Monday 18th July at 11:00am, followed by internment at Nottingham Road Cemetery.
