The obituary notice of Ronald John (Ron) FREEMAN

My Wife and I have known Ron and Glenys for many years in the Chelmsford area. We always thought they were a grand couple.
If only more people could be as decent, polite and friendly as Ron
was - the world would be a lot better place.

Dear Ron, thank you for the warmth and kindness you brought to us both, we will always remember you fondly for your cheerful ways and friendly chats. You will be greatly missed and the neighbourhood will not be the same without you. God bless Maggie and Bill

It always gives me so much joy to see what individual members of the u3a Art Club produce. I had no idea, until recently, Ron had created so many pictures. They include a wonderful collection of his lifetime memories of people and places. It is a pleasure to know he got so much from it and enjoyed making his mark.

His kind and friendly nature was a rare gift, and one which I will always remember. Ron was so well liked amongst his friends and fellow painters. A polite and gentle man we will all miss. May he rest in peace…
