EdytheGAFFNEYYOUNG Edythe Gaffney, on 11th April 2020, passed away at home, aged 83. Beloved wife of the late John Gaffney. She was a much loved, Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister-in-Law, Aunty & Friend. She was devoted and very proud of all her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. One who worked tirelessly all her life, with kindness in her heart. A true lady. Forever in our hearts. X Funeral to be held on 30th April, at 11am. Blackley Crem. Memorial Celebrations to be arranged at a later date for all her Family, Friends and Neighbours.

Such a lovely lady and I'm very proud to have called you my great aunt. I'll never forget all the baking you did (even if it was enough to feed a small army) or the mountains of food you'd put on when we use to visit you in Ardwick. I have some great memories of you and I'll never forget them.....your now at peace with uncle john.....sleep well xx
