Michael JohnGALLAGHERPassed away suddenly at the Hull Royal Infirmary on the 20th September 2026 aged 79 years.

Beloved Husband of the late Jane Elizabeth (nee Gerard). Retired Scenes of Crime Officer for Humberside Police.

A service will be held on Wednesday 14th October at Haltemprice Crematorium, Willerby at 2.30pm.

No flowers please but donations for the Blue Cross Animal Charity and Dogs Trust may be left at the service.

May he rest in peace.

Michael was a dear, long- time, sweet friend. He called us “my cousins across the pond.” He was so funny and kept us laughing constantly. We loved visiting him and Jane so much. He and Jane visited us in North Carolina and our entire family loved them dearly. Never a dull moment from Michael. We have many funny stories about this sweet man. Although we have not seen him recently, he and Jane will live in our hearts forever. RIP my sweet friend. Wanda and Lee Caviness, Greensboro, NC
