EdwardGIBLINTed passed peacefully at home on December 20th, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of Laura, much loved dad of Sean, Carol, and Chris, dear father-in-law of Helen and John, loving grandad of Michael, Lucy, Ruairidh, Jamie and Ben, beloved brother of Kitty and the late Denis and Michael. Service at Stockton Crematorium, Bluebell Chapel on Friday 6th January at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please.

I am sad to read the passing of Ted. I was a BA Business Studies student at Teesside 1982 - 1986 and Ted was a passionate advocate of the accountancy discipline. He had high standards and was driven to ensure that his students could achieve the best they could. I later met him at Durham University Business School in the early/mid 1990s and I was touched that he still remembered me from a decade prior. Rest in Peace Ted.

I was a student of Ted in foundation course in accountancy at Teesside Polytechnic in 1987. May his soul rest in peace.
