Happy memories of growing up together Yvonne. Sleeping over on a Saturday night, your bedroom walls covered with Beatles posters. George Harrison, always your favourite. Going on Dansom Lane playground and so many more. As we've grown older we always had a good catch up and a laugh whenever we got together. I will love and miss you forever

Yvonne was a lovely proud Yorkshire woman with a great sense of humor and a little bit of mischief. I spent a great many evenings over the years with Yvonne and George at Martyn and Lisa’s house, and we all had the best time, she was a gem. I will miss her, all my love to George, who is also a gem, and love to all the Gibsons. Rest in peace Yvonne

I know this is a very hard thing to write but I’ll try my best since you have been the best grandma anybody could ask for. In some cultures, they call getting older your sunset years and it’s a time where you get to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset of memories you have made over the years. You have taught me so much about how to be positive in hard times, how to bake, random interesting facts about our family history, and many other things. All the skills you have taught me will help me broaden my horizons as I start my journey into adulthood. Throughout this whole rollercoaster of events, you have brought people laughter, joy, and a chance to come together to be there for you and each other. I really enjoyed a few summers ago when I got to just hang out with you one-on-one and when we got pizza and just watched EastEnders and Coronation Street. I appreciate how even though it was hard for some people you used Darcey instead of Tyla. I don’t want to think about last words but just know I love you so much and I am proud of all the things you have accomplished and I will always try to keep your memories and stories alive. I will always think of you when I hear the Beatles and the power of music will connect us together. I’m not really sure how to end this letter as it brings me sadness to know that your sunset is coming to an end although your sunshine will never fade…
