DoreenGINGELLIt is with deep sadness that the family announce the death of Doreen, aged 84 years of Holton-le-Clay, who passed away peacefully whilst in the care of Little Brocklesby House Care Home, Great Limber. Doreen was a much loved mother of Teresa and Amanda, a fond mother-in-law of Peter and Paul and a treasured nan of Daniel and Sidonie. Doreen was also a very dear aunt and friend to many and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of Doreen's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday April 20th at 1.30 pm. Family flowers only please by request, but if so desired donations for Alzheimer's Society may be left at the service or sent direct to the charity. All enquiries to H & HJ Huteson & Sons, Holydyke Funeral Home, Barton-upon-Humber, DN18 5PR.

A Mothers love…

It's a wonderful thing,
a mother;
other folks can love you,
but only your mother
understands.
She works for you,
looks after you,
loves you,
forgives you anything
you may do,
understands you, and
then the
only thing bad she ever
does to you
is to die and leave you.

What a wonderful lady. Had the pleasure of working with Aunty Dor in the late 80s in Devonshire House. A more kind and caring person you could not wish to find. Whenever the customer service staff on the ground floor had a difficult customer Dor would go down (once she’d taken her slippers off!) and have them
‘eating out of her hand’ in no time. She was also like the staff agony aunt, especially to the younger female staff at the time. RIP Aunty Dor.
