JuneGREGORY NEE NIELDJune GREGORY (NEE NIELD) Mrs June Gregory (nee Nield), of Wellfield Care Home, Accrington, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, aged 91. June was a shop assistant, then an auxiliary nurse for 30 years at Queens Park Hospital, where she retired from. She loved reading and travel, travelling extensively with her husband Lewis, their favourite place being the USA, where they visited many times. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, taking them on many holidays. Wife of the late Lewis, to whom she was married for 69 years, she was mother of Gwen, Karl and Kevin, grandmother of Catherine, Richard, Daniel, Michael, Kristopher, Rebecca, Debra, Stuart and Adam, and great-grandmother of Molly, Lorelei, Autumn and Harriot. The funeral was held on Wednesday, June 17 at Accrington Cemetery. Donations if desired to North West Air Ambulance. Funeral director: Hyndburn Funeral Services.
