GeorgeGUYMr George Guy, of Ormerod Street, Water, died at Blackburn Hospital, on Saturday, November 7, aged 86. George was a Doric Springs labourer, a former coal miner, and a farmer. He enjoyed socialising, gardening, watching sports, and playing dominoes. George leaves wife Greta Guy, children Deborah, James, and Linda, grandchildren George, Harrison, Melissa, Rebecca, Megan, and Rachel, and son-in-law Craig. The funeral will beheld on Tuesday, November 24, at 12.30pm at Fred Hamers Chapel of Rest, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 1.45pm, led by Kathy Unsworth. No flowers please, but donations to Rossendale Hospice. Donations can be made online by visiting www.fredhamer.co.uk . Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Services.
