It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Anthony Gwyther-Jones, aged 93.
Anthony went to be with the Lord on Friday 24th April 2026.
We will miss him so much but know he is now safe in his heavenly home.

Anthony was the devoted husband of the late Joan for over 70 years,
brother-in-law to Don and Jan Ace. He was a loving, faithful father to Michael, Elizabeth and Lynda,
and father-in-law to Jenn, Charles, and Julian. Anthony was a cherished grandfather to Daniel, Natalie, Suzi, David, Joseph, Bethan and Sarah and much-loved by his 9 great-grandchildren.

We will all miss him deeply but take comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Saviour and
reunited with his beloved wife Joan.

Paraclete Congregational Church, Newton Road,
Newton, Swansea SA2 9EU
Tuesday 2nd June 2026 @ 11:00am

Followed by the Interment @ 12:15pm
Oystermouth Cemetery, 94 Newton Road,
Langland, Swansea SA3 4SW

Anthony and Joan were wonderful, kind, generous godly and determined people. They helped me pretty much from the moment I came to Bible College and were always encouraging and supportive. Whilst I appreciate that this celebration of life is Anthony's, I've never been able to separate him and Joan in my mind so I know they are both together again now only apart for a short time. The Lord whom they both loved is worthy to be praised! Thank you Jesus for their amazing testimony and life.
