Danuta mou!! You may be gone but while I’m still here on earth, I will always remember you as this Abba-character of a person, lively, with joy in her voice and sparkles in her eyes and true love in her heart! With killer dancing groovy moves and a witty sense of humour as well as a true ability to give heartfelt hugs, as well-put by my little Aria, “Aunty Usha can do magic!” And that’s what you did! You spread and sprinkled magic each time when in your presence! What a privilege it was for Uncle Andy to have brought you in our lives and for us to call you “Aunty”! I will never forget your warm greeting “hello babyface!” and your precious goodbyes “love you babyface!”, neither your wise words “Enjoy your lovely family! They grow up sooo fast!” Always so wise and forever positive! A bundle of joy! And boy did you prove how positive you were! Even through your darkest struggles, you stood SO courageous and strong and you always comforted us instead of us comforting you “don’t worry babes! I’ve got this!”, you used to say. You never missed a bday call and our worry was yours too. And while you fought your own tough battles, that never drove you bitter or harsh, instead it made you even kinder and more compassionate than ever before. That is so rare and so grand! I bow to that. Your enchanting voice and British accent will forever echo in my ears, whether that’s singing “itsy bitsy spider” and “I can sing a rainbow” to the children or “que sera sera” and “dancing queen” to us! We will love you soooo much forever and a day and miss you always!
