It is with great sadness that we announce that John aged 79 years (formerly of Halifax, West Yorkshire),
passed away peacefully on Monday 3 August 2026 in the care of The Anchorage Care Home in Grimsby
with his beloved wife Linda by his side.
Devoted husband & soulmate to Linda and, a good friend & neighbour to many, John will be sorely missed by all who knew him over the years, including ex work colleagues and those from the airplane spotting community.
John loved his dogs Bullet and Gabby who were faithful companions and always by his side.
A private cremation will take place,
but should you wish to leave a donation, donations can be made to the RAF Benevolent Fund.
