BarbaraHAMSadly, after a short illness Barbara passed away at Morriston Hospital, Swansea on 6th November 2024.

She was a loving mother to Lynne and Kelvin; a devoted mother-in-law to Brian and Mair; a proud grandmother to Simon and his wife Suzi, Claire and her husband Mark, James and his wife Helen, Lisa and her husband James. A joyful great-grandmother to James and Jack, Sam, Jack and Nia, Ralph, Rowan, Elliot and Haydn, and a great-great grandmother to Quentin. A loved sister, sister-in-law and Aunt.

Funeral Service to be held at Ebenezer Chapel, Dunvant, Swansea SA2 7UX at 11:00 am Friday 6th December 2024 followed by the Committal Service at Swansea Crematorium, Morriston SA6 6BY 12:30 pm.

No flowers by request of the family. Donations in lieu, if desired, can be made to Ebenezer Chapel c/o

Barbara would have liked a splash of colour to be worn at the Service.

Dear Lynne and family,
So sad to read about the passing of your dear mother. Such a lovely, lovely lady, who would always stop to chat. Deepest sympathy to you all at this very sad time. I have only just read the obituary. Love and prayers .

We have known Barbara for many years through our close relationship with Lynne and Brian. She was always great company and we have fond memories of happier times.
Our thoughts are with all the family.

Such sad news ,Barbara & I started our training to become GPO telephonists .Barbara unfortunately was unwell & had to defer her training .Although this happend we became good friends .Barbara was beautiful inside & outside & was a very kind friend.My deepest sympathy to all her lovely family. God bless you Barbara .RIP .Marian Benson
