DonaldHAMPSONMR Donald Hampson, of Devon Crescent, Helmshore died on Thursday, March 26, at his home, aged 87. He leaves his wife Pat, daughter Carole, sons Jeff and David, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Donald worked at the Co-op Slipper Works, in Haslingden up to his retirement. A former member of Sunnybank Social Club Bowling Team, he and Pat enjoyed nights out dancing at Haslingden Conservative Club. In his youth he served with the RAF and he took great pleasure spending time in his little garden. The funeral was due to take place on Thursday, April 2, with a private service and cremation at Accrington Crematorium officiated by Fr. Stephen Brown.
