Sylvia AvrilHANCOXPassed away suddenly, but peacefully on Sunday 2nd March 2025, aged 85 years.

Beloved wife to the late John. Special mum to Ashley, Rachael, and Adam. Cherished nanny to Dan, Charlotte, Polly, Alex, Belle, Seb, and Claudia.

Sylvia will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The committal will be held on Friday 4th April, service 10:30am, at Lichfield & District Crematorium, Fradley, followed by a service at St James' Church, Barton-under-Needwood at 11:30am to celebrate Sylvia's life. Both services will be live-streamed.

Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Sylvia will benefit Cancer Research UK, and Kidney Research UK. These may be placed in the donation box at the service.

Sylvia was such a lovely person - so kind and thoughtful. We shared many a giggle and her eyes twinkled so beautifully when she laughed. We will think of her always so fondly and know how much she will be missed
