Peter MelvilleHARTPassed away peacefully after a short illness with family members by his side on Tuesday 3rd December aged 80 years.

Much loved husband of Myra and father to Fiona and Alistair, father-in-law to Sally and adored grandfather of Connor, Charlie and Summer. Brother to Michael and Christopher.

Much admired by his many friends.

Sincere thanks from the family to the staff at Hull Royal Infirmary, Castle Hill Hospital, Ward 10 and to the incredible and compassionate team on Ward 30, Queens Centre.

Funeral service to be held on Wednesday 18th December at Haltemprice Crematorium at 12.30pm.

No flowers by request please, however, donations may be left at the service to Cancer Research.

I have many fond memories of Pete. On my last trip with the club I just turned my back for 5 minutes and he had whipped my kayak off the roof and down to the river bank for me! He was a true gent and will be greatly missed. Sorry I couldn't be with you today - he was in my thoughts xx.
