I’m writing this with such a heavy heart to tell you that our beloved Watson sadly passed away on Wednesday. He took poorly on Tuesday and had to have an emergency operation but sadly just wasn’t strong enough. I know you and mum loved to spent endless hours in our garden. Us have a drink or two whilst Watson played or just lying down on the grass in the sun. Happy days spent by all. He was by far the best Christmas present I have bought Shaun. His loving and kind nature together with the biggest loving heart to match his size with be forever missed

Another Father’s Day has sadly come and gone together with your birthday today. The sadness that I feel seems to get bigger and wider as time passes without you dad. Sometimes it can be so overwhelming but then I remember the happy times. All those wonderful memories that we have of you. Thank you for being my dad

I’m missing you so much dad as do we all. Mum is doing really well. It’s so lovely when mum talks about you. For instance the time you sang love me tender by Elvis at a karaoke and you two hadn’t been courting very long. She said you were wonderful. I can just imagine it. I love to sit and listen to mum talk about you. You are never far from our thoughts. Shaun looks after us all so much and can’t do enough for mum. The other week Joseph did a portrait of you and framed it to give to Nan. She was over the moon with it. It’s a wonderful drawing of you. Matt is going to Italy for a conference soon and I can just see you talking about your holidays there and what a wonderful time he will have. Josh and Karolien came over recently with Jules. He will be two in June. He is such a lovely little boy. He kept giving me hugs all the time. I wish you could have met him but I will tell him all about his great grandad and how you would have loved him as we all love you dad.

Dad I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday and Father’s Day. Remembering how you liked two lots of cards with two lots of presents when they fell on
the same day. One of the many wonderful memories you have given me over the years. The sadness is still unbearable but just remembering these little things helps sometimes. I will never forget your laughter, your smile and your kindness. I will treasure these forever. Thank you for being my dad
