Colin JohnHEATHPeacefully after a short illness on 30th March 2025, with his family at his side at Queens Hospital in Burton on Trent, Colin aged 87 years of Kidsgrove.
Devoted husband of Barbara, the best stepdad to Beverley and Andrew, absolutely cherished grandfather to Hayley and Oliver, brother to the late Frank, much loved cousin of Kath and a dear uncle.
Colin will be greatly missed by all who knew him, sang alongside him in the choir or worked with him in the pit. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind condolences and would also like to thank the staff at The Queens Hospital for their incredible care and compassion.
A funeral service will take place at Stoke Minster on Wednesday 23rd April at 2.00pm, followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. All those wishing to attend please meet at the church.
Family flowers only please, however donations can be made in memory of Colin for Parkinson's UK and Midlands Air Ambulance Service.
