Joy MarieHENSBYPeacefully at The Manor House, St Hilary on 31st July 2023, aged 93. Beloved wife of Richard, loving mother of Susan, Ceri and Hywel, grandmother of Sophie, Isabel, George, Rhys and Lia and great grandmother of Rose, Oscar, Robyn, Rune, Toby, Isabelle, Harvey and Archie. Joy will be very sadly missed by her family and friends. Private committal at Thornhill Crematorium, Cardiff at 10:15am on Wednesday 16th August 2023 followed by a memorial service and celebration of life at Holy Cross Church, Cowbridge at 11:30am. We are so very sorry to hear about the passing of  Joy. On behalf of us all at Tŷ Hafan please accept our heartfelt condolences. Joy was a very special person and we can see from your Tribute page they were dearly loved by all of the family. They will be missed.



I hope you and your family take comfort in knowing that your support will extend a caring hand in our hospice and the local community – providing comfort to the many families and children that Tŷ Hafan support. Tŷ Hafan is a wonderful place full of love, laughter and cherished memories, ensuring a short life is a full life. These memories are something our families will treasure forever, just as you will treasure your memories of Joy. I really hope that can give you some solace during this incredibly sad time.
