Daniel sadly passed away peacefully on 5th February 2026, aged 95 years.
In accordance with Dan's wishes a private cremation has taken place, and a memorial service in his memory is to be held at All Saints Parish Church, West Avenue, Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE3 4ES on Wednesday 6th May 2026 at 11am followed by refreshments in the Great Hall at Jesmond Dene House.
