John & Gordon were great friends for many years. I'm sure they've already caught up with the past 32 months, since Gordon died.
Real friendships don't fail, they hang around waiting until, ' we meet again.'
Gordon valued John's friendship, and I know it was mutual.
Sadly missed by those who loved him.
My heart aches for those whose lives were enriched by John.
It's an old cliché, but true
GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.

Our Dear Captain,

We called you “Captain”, because you seemed like a man who knew how to lead, guide and show the way. And indeed, you were a man who earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of knowing you.

Throughout all the years you visited Paphos and the hotels in the area, you built many beautiful friendships and left behind people who will remember you with great affection. Always together with your beloved wife, the two of you were a wonderful couple who spread love, kindness and smiles wherever you went.

To us, you were not simply a customer. You became a part of our story and our memories. We knew you as a serious man, with dignity, character and presence, but at the same time with a wonderful sense of humour and a unique ability to bring smiles to those around you. Your advice always carried wisdom, and the way you spoke made people listen to you and respect you.

We will miss our conversations, your advice, your humour and your presence at your table.

Safe travels, our Captain.

The helm may have left your hands, but the course you charted in our hearts will remain forever.

With deepest respect and love,

The family and team of Phivos Restaurant
