JamesHEYSApril 8, 1943 - July 30, 2026 Jim Heys, formerly of Haslingden, peacefully passed on Thursday, July 30,
at Ed's House Northumberland Hospice, Canada, aged 84.
Beloved husband of Anne (nee Gorton).
Loving father of Karen (Andrew) Steele and Mark (Stephanie Feldhausen) Heys.
Cherished grandfather of Alexander Steele, Victoria (Matt) Dettman, Catharine (Justin Hardwick) Steele,
Elizabeth (Jesse Rayner) Steele, Steven Heys and Michael Heys. Dear great grandfather of Bryce Dettman
and Noah Hardwick. Brother of Reneé (the late William).
James will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Jim attended Haslingden Secondary School, then worked at English Electric before relocating to Canada.
Jim was a family man with a passion for sports - an avid golfer and supporter of his favourite teams,
Manchester United (Glory Glory...) and the Toronto Blue Jays.
He will be missed by us all.
