The obituary notice of Patricia HEYWOOD

So sorry to hear about Pat's passing. I heard from my daughter in Turkey and as I do not take the Examiner was not aware. Pat was a good neighbour to my mother Lise Newsome, whose funeral she attended in January and myself, my husband David and more distant family members were always grateful for the friendship my mother found in Scholes. Pat was a lovely, giving lady with a heart of gold and I am so sorry she has left us so young. Ann Davies from Upperthong.

Pat served on New Mill Scout Group Executive for 30 years. She was a Trustee, assisting at many events and camps.
The Scout Group were very grateful for all her wonderful support and help. Heartfelt condolences from all who served with Pat on the Scout Group Executive. Pat was a special lady of whom we have very fond memories.

To my dearest friend Pat,
You and I walked the same road for the last 45 years. From being newly married brides in our first homes, through to being mothers and grandmothers. So many shared happy memories over the years. I will miss your wisdom and kindness.

So sorry for your loss, she was a lovely lady, always smiling when she came into work and on many social occasions. She will be missed, in our prayers always.
