Bryan MontagueHIBBARDDied on 29th September 2021 aged 95 after a full life of service to medicine and civic duty. Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at University of Wales, Polymath, lover of Art and Opera, custodian of a sensorial garden, and member of The Friends of Llandaff Cathedral, Contemporary Art Society of Wales and Llandaff Croquet Club amongst others. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (née Grassie), Bryan was a true gentleman. He was loved by his sister-in-law Tricia, Nephews Andrew and Robert and Niece Kirsten along with Sara, Suzanne, and Michael, and 4 great nephews and a niece. A memorial Service will be held at Llandaff Cathedral (Nave), 1:00pm on Thursday 21st October to which all who knew Bryan are welcome. No flowers. Donations are welcome to The Friends of Llandaff Cathedral (Reg Charity 501362), The National Botanic Garden of Wales (Reg Charity 1036354) or The Contemporary Art Society for Wales (Reg Charity 247947).
