David ReesHIGGINSPassed away peacefully in Trafford General Hospital on 13th January 2022, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Wendy and devoted father of Paul, Cathryn, and Richard, he was a much-loved Grandfather of Charlotte, Eleanor, Lucy & Sam and Father-in-Law of Christine, Phillip, and Sarah. The family would like to thank the staff of Trafford General Stroke Ward for their devoted care of David and are grateful for the kind expressions of sympathy and cards of condolence received from friends, neighbours, and all who knew David. David was Headmaster of Brooklands Primary School for 24 years, a local councillor for Brooklands Ward and Mayor of Trafford for the year 2009 - 2010. A service for David will take place on Monday 7th February 2022 at 1:00pm at St John's Church, Brooklands Road, Sale, followed by a committal at Altrincham Crematorium at 2:30pm.
