Three years on and the pain of losing you still remains deeper than ever. I'm still trying to understand how someone who meant everything to me could suddenly become a memory. The hardest part is that life keeps asking me to move forward while my soul keeps looking back, back to your beautiful smile, your laughter, back to things about you that I thought would last forever. I miss you in a thousand ways every single day, in the conversation I can no longer have, in the memories that still bring tears to my eyes and in the love that has no where to go. I'm existing, doing my best, but part of me went with you the day you left me, and no matter how many years pass that part of me will always be waiting, loving you, missing you and wishing for one more moment with you. My heart refuses to let go, the years we shared may never return, but the love I carry for you remains forever.
