Both times
When you went away.
Flowers blooming.
The sun shining.

Both times
the robins chirped
as my heart was grieving
tears over-flowing.

I miss you both
Though each passing,
years between,
the void of your absence
lingers still.

I said goodbye
Both times
In church and a garden
love never dies nor
does this grieving heart heal.
