Dear Dad, we had very little time together.
I am told that I have the same beaming smile and sense of humour as you. I can’t sing at all but I do have a very good ear.
I know that you loved me, and I love you very much.
Your daughter.

I've only just found this obituary and it really saddens me. I knew Terry and Arthur very well. Along with another friend, Ronnie Carroll, we used to ferry the group's kit to venues like the Hope Hall (beneath The Everyman). Their manager George lived in an old Victorian house in Liverpool 8 and we used his cellar for band practice. After a gig Terry, Meg and Ronnie would often come back to my house in Norris green and I would make loads of tea and toast. Sometimes we would stay up all night listening to Bob Dylan LP's.
