Jean GertrudeHODGSONPeacefully at South Chowdene Care Home, Gateshead, on the 9th of June 2025, aged 94.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Raymond Hodgson, a much loved and cherished mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Devoted member of St Paul's Mothers' Union. Jean will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service to be held at St Paul's Church, Winlaton on Thursday the 26th June 2025 at 11:15am followed by a cremation at Mountsett Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St Paul's Mothers' Union.

I was so sad to learn of the passing of my lovely friend and ex-neighbour, Jean Hodgson. Jean was so thoughtful and friendly when I first moved to Winlaton 30yrs ago. We have been good friends ever since. Sadly, my sister and I will be unable to attend Jean's funeral on 26th June, as we both now live in the North of Scotland. Sending deepest condolences and all my love to Jean's family. R.I.P. Jean. xxxx

So sad to be reading about the lovely Mrs Hodgson my husband Des often visited her on a Sat morning with her scones & cakes and always stayed for a chat RIP lovely lady
