Susan ElainHOUSLEYIt is with heavy hearts, but a lifetime of beautiful memories, that we announce the passing of our beloved Sue, who left us on 18th September 2026, at Lindsey Lodge Hospice surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 49 years.

Anyone who knew Sue knows she brought colour, laughter, and an unforgettable spark into every room she walked into. She lived life out loud and loved her family and friends fiercely.

Fun loving mum of Jorja, Iona, Lewis and their sibling Izzy, cherished daughter of Joan and Lloyd, loving partner of Martin, much loved sister of David and Lizzie, a dear auntie, niece, cousin and a dedicated teacher and colleague and a friend to many. Sue will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

All are welcome to join the family for a service to celebrate Sue's life to share stories, laugh, and remember the joy she brought to us all. The service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Messingham on Monday 26th October at 11am followed by family committal service at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe.

In lieu of flowers, donations, in Sue's memory, to benefit Westcliffe Primary School may be made at the service or sent c/o J Naylor Funeral Directors, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe DN15 6PN Tel (01724) 280082

I can't believe I am writing this. Susan you were the funniest, zaniest, fun loving friend at school and I loved you. You lived loudly and I'll cherish the laughs we had. I am so pleased I got to say this to you in messages only a few weeks ago. I am so sorry to your lovely family. They were all so good to me, as were you. Love and thoughts to you all. Sarah x
