SallyHUGHESSarah Ruth Yn sydyn, ond yn dawel ar ôl salwch hir, bu farw Mrs Sally (Sarah Ruth) Hughes (née Williams) yn Ysbyty Brenhinol Gwent ar 26 Medi. Gwraig y diweddar Dr John Martel Hughes, mam, mam-gu a hen fam-gu gariadus. Ganwyd Sally yn Llangennech, bu'n byw yng Nghaerdydd cyn dod i fyw yng Nghasnewydd ym 1961. Bu'n gweithio fel nyrs yng Nghaerdydd ac yng Nghasnewydd. Angladd i'r teulu a blodau'r teulu yn unig. Derbynnir rhoddion at 'Urdd Gobaith Cymru' er cof amdani a chyda diolch trwy law'r Trefnwyr Angladdau, y Brodyr Tovey, Casnewydd. Bu ei chariad at ddiwylliant Cymru'n amlwg drwy gydol ei bywyd. Suddenly, but peacefully in the Royal Gwent Hospital on 26th September, Mrs Sally (Sarah Ruth) Hughes (née Williams) passed away. The widow of Dr John Martel Hughes and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sally was born in Llangennech and lived in Cardiff before coming to live in Newport in 1961. She worked as a nurse in Cardiff and in Newport. Family funeral and family flowers only. Donations in her memory to 'Urdd Gobaith Cymru' will be gratefully received c/o. Tovey Bros Funeral Services, 9/11 Cardiff Road, Newport. NP20 2EH. Her love of Welsh culture was evident throughout her life.
