Passed away peacefully aged 79 years, surrounded by his loving Family.
Derek was one of four siblings, the Son of Arthur and Elsie Hughes. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted Wife of over 50 years, Patricia and their children Paula, Anthony and Kevin, as well as his Grandchildren Faith, Toby, Olivia, Alys, Elis and Louis.
Derek spent much of his working life as a Bus Driver in Liverpool, a City he loved, as much as the beautiful game itself, a Blue, who had as much time for the Reds, a proper Gentleman, loving Husband and caring Father.
A Funeral Service will take place at St. Gregory's R C Church, Lydiate on Tuesday 21st November 2023 at 10.00am.
