A thank you note for my beautiful nan.
Thank you for all the love you gave me, and the memories we've shared.
Thank you for your endless support and showing how much you cared.
Thank you for always making the best tea and toast (with real butter)
and every cruise we went on, sailing coast to coast.
Thank you for every time you picked me up from school,
and every holiday you minded the bags whilst me and Ash played in the pool.
Thank you for every time you let me into your house when I'd lost my key,
and all the great chats we had sat in your conservatory.
Thank you for making all my birthdays and Christmas's so happy and special
and showing me no matter what, a good hair style is essential.
Thank you for always telling me how proud of me you were
and attending school literacy sessions to help me learn the difference between their, they're and there.
Thank you for each and every single thing you did for me, and for raising the best auntie and mum anyone could be.
Thank you for teaching me Sudoku, and lots of crossword fun
and every beach picnic we had in France, laughing in the sun.
For every time you helped me cheat in a game of girl boy by telling me the names of flowers I didn't know
and thank you for always being there to help flourish and grow.
Thank you for making me the person I am today, teaching me kindness and grace
and for every smile you have put upon my face.
There are a million things I am thankful for, but above all, thank you for what you did best, just being my nan.
Love always, Amy
Amy
