Great memories of Rich, a true force of nature. Packed more into his life than anyone I have known. We were best mates in school and the Swansea University.
Many great evenings in the Black Lion Llangurig supping a pint or three !
Privileged to be best man at his wedding to Julie
Comparing the latest car, his was always the quicker one !
He always took the lead and expected us all to follow which we always did due to the force of his personality.
We will miss you. A good friend to us both.

Richard “the Rascal” Hughes. An absolute legend of a man. Kind, funny, generous and a very strong handshake. You will be very much missed by all. Here is a picture from a great day at the Theatre of Dreams.

Uncle Rich, Our whole family were truly blessed to have you in our lives.

From “dry shaves” to a notoriously firm handshake, your presence and larger than life character was the heartbeat of our family get togethers!
