A few scattered memories of our great Uncle Rich:

BBQs, camping, and caravans.
Jimmy White’s Whirlwind Snooker.
How to properly skim a stone on water.
Walks.
His love for his dogs.
Using a magnifying glass to concentrate the sun’s rays.
The idea that K’NEX designers (kids’ toys) could learn a thing or two about proper structural reinforcement from a civil engineer!
Sneaky cigarettes in the garage.
Felling trees.
Showing off his new car’s acceleration.
Always asking in detail about which roads I travelled up on, while I had no clue—I’d just followed the sat-nav.
Demonstrating how to maximize our new car’s gearbox… and how to use the “fun switch” for “serious driving”.
The laugh.
Rich, walking in before we were about to head to his mom’s funeral, declaring, “Right, everyone—today isn’t about being sad. It’s a celebration,” then leading the way, as he did best.

Thinking of the Hughes crew and all those who had Uncle Rich in your lives ❤

...Julie you might want to close your eyes for this one...I can remember leaving Puffin petrol station on A55, heading towards the Faenol, just as RH went passed....well...I backed out at 120mph as we reached Pen-Y-Clip..and he carried on accelerating...also..I can't help smiling to myself when I tell Project Teans to 'Hold The Line' whenever they're in trouble...Thanks Boss

...might want to close your eyes Julie...but I remember leaving Puffin petrol station on A55 and slotting in behind RH on the way to the Faenol...well....I backed out at 120mph at Pen-Y-Clip...and he carried on accelerating....also...I have to smile to myself when I tell Project Teams to 'Hold The Line...' when they're dealing with anything awkward...Thanks Boss...
