On 25th April 2015, aged 81 years, Eileen (nee Jones), loving wife of Syd, dear mother of Alan and Tracey and the late David, also a loving grandma of Liam and Drew and a loving sister and auntie to her family in Liverpool and Ireland. Would friends please meet for the Funeral Service at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 6th May at 2.30pm. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Royal Air Force Convalescent Home at Rothbury. With thanks to St.Bede's Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the loving care received. One piece of colour optional as mam liked colour. All enquiries to W. Lauderdale & Son Funeral Services. Tel. Eileen played a huge part in my life whilst I was in care when much younger. A lovely lady who I at times challenged and led a merry dance, but who always understood me and showed me love and respect which was much needed. They say as long as someone is thinking about you in a good way....you are never far away, well I am and thanks so much lovely lady! All my love and best wishes to the family whom I also remember fondly xxxx Lyn(da) was smith now Kelly.
