Michael AdamHUTCHINSON-ROGERSWith the greatest of sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Hutchinson-Rogers, known to all as Mikey. Mikey was unexpectedly lost to this world on the 4th September 2026 aged 15 years. The youngest of four children to Colin and Anna, Mikey was deeply loved by siblings Luke, Sam and Christina.

Mikey was without a doubt, the kindest most gentle soul you could ever hope to meet. His quiet and content demeanour made him a pleasure to be around.

Mikey's funeral service will be held at Bangor Cathedral on Saturday 26th September at 10am. His procession will leave Llanfairfechan at 9.15am. Following the service, his burial will be at Rhandir Hedd Cemetery, Aber Road, Llanfairfechan LL33 0HR.

Light refreshments and snacks will be provided where the family will join to share memories and celebrate his life together. Venue to be advised.

Family flowers only please with any donations to be made to the wonderful Ty Gobaith, Conwy who looked after Mikey.

God Bless you Mikey. You are so loved, and your loss is felt so deeply to us all. You would be so incredibly proud of your family and friends for their tributes and acts of love and togetherness over the last few weeks. Sleep tight Mikey, and rest peacefully in the knowledge that we all love and miss you so deeply. I'm sure everyone will be having a cornetto and dreaming of you for a long time to come x

I taught Mikey English and French for the last five years - every week during term-time. Although these were not his favourite subjects, it was a joy to be in his company. We laughed and joked and discussed many topics. He provoked me and wound me up in his gentle, joyful way. He had a lovely personality. I always used to look forward to that hour after school. It was a privelege to know him and I shall miss him terribly. 'May he rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.' Gareth Parry

Dear Family, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My Saturdays at 10:45 am will never be the same without Mikey. Teaching him piano was a true joy, and I will miss his presence, his music, and our time together more than words can say. Sending you all my love and strength during this heartbreaking time.
