Thought about you today while watching the 80 th anniversary of D-Day celebrations on TV.
Remembering all the tales of cameraderie and hardship you told us about, that everyone endured ,during the last World War.
You should have been here to honour your departed colleagues and friends, along with the rest of the population.
Today ,(June 5th 2024) is the 51st anniversary of Stephen’s death, -you were 51 yrs old ,and he was only 17 yrs old when he died ,on June 5th 1973.
Despite the passage of time, all the heartaches and all our past wonderful memories ,come to mind ,on these special days.
Still haven’t managed to complete all the requests you asked me to sort out for you, but I’ll do my best to ensure your final wishes are granted.
I try my best to cherish the happy memories of events and happy times spent all together,as a loving family.
Hope you’re looking down on us and wishing us well, in our daily lives.
You’ll always be the person I knew longest in my life.
Thank you for everything , till we meet again……
Noeline.
