Dennis JamesJOHNSTONEIn hospital on the 17th March, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Iris, a much loved brother of David, dear dad of Angela/Kristel and Lisa, grandad to Josh, Sam, Thomas and Jordan. Service to take place at Saltwell Cemetery on Thursday 1st April at 10.30am and the family ask that you recall happy memories of Dennis on this day. Funeral by invitation only due to Covid regulations. Donations in memory of Dennis may be sent to British Heart Foundation please.

Very sorry to hear of my friend Dennis death this morning.I’ve known him since 1953 and went to school together and I will sadly miss him
as we always kept in touch and always called to see him whenever I came back to Gateshead.My thoughts and prayers are with Iris and
the girls and of course his brother David.May he Rest In Peace Billy and Cissie Nee
