Ellen ElizabethJONES-PARRY12 October, 2026. Peacefully, in the presence of her family at Ysbyty Gwynedd, and of Pen y Bryn, Llanfaglan, aged 89 years. The dearly loved wife of the late Arthur, loving mother of Goronwy and Kathy, and a much loved nain to Cadi, Mabli and Twm. Ellen will also be fondly remembered by many as the landlady of the Vaynol Arms, Pentir, Bangor. In her later years, she worked as a maternity ward nurse before going on to work as a support worker for people with learning difficulties, before eventually retiring.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, 12 November, 2026. Public service at Calfaria Chapel, Pen-y-groes at 1.00 p.m. She will then be laid to rest at Llanfaglan Cemetery.
