John IvorJONESIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of retired North Wales Police Detective Chief Inspector John Ivor Jones (collar no 921). John passed away peacefully at Glan Clwyd Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday 21st August 2026 aged 79 years and of Prestatyn.
A devoted husband to Gay, beloved dad to Amy and Laura, treasured brother to Rita and Mei and cherished uncle to Daniel and Charlotte. John will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all his family and friends.
Funeral service to be held at St Melyd Church, Meliden on Friday 18th September 2026 at 12:30pm followed by a committal at Denbighshire Memorial Park & Crematorium, St Asaph.
