Thomas Meirion PughJONESof Bryn Coch, Rhos-y-Brithdir, Llanfyllin, passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home on Monday, 21st September 2026, aged 58 years. Devoted husband to Llinos, cherished Dad to Eos, kind and supportive brother to Derrick and the late Margaret, thoughtful uncle to Gethin, Elen, Tom, Aled and Miriam, and fun-loving great uncle to Neli, Noa and Lydia. Caring brother-in-law to Luned, Mari and the late Jane, and a loyal and treasured son to the late Percy and Nancy Jones. A cheerful, hard-working and dependable friend to all who knew him.
A Service of Committal will be held at Pentrebychan Crematorium, near Wrexham, on Friday, 30th October at 11.15am, followed by a Service of Celebration at St. Myllin's Church, Llanfyllin at 2.00pm. All family, friends and neighbours are welcome to attend either or both services.
Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, in memory of Meirion, to RABI, Tir Dewi, the Severn Hospice or to Lingen Davies Cancer Support.
