Ceinwen GwendolineJONESIt is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ceinwen Gwendoline Jones (Gwen), age 77, who passed away on 14th October 2026 at Bryn Marl Nursing Home, surrounded by her family.
Previously of 5 St George's Drive, Deganwy.
Gwen was the dearly loved wife of Chris, and a devoted and loving Mam, Step-Mum and Mother-in-law to Anna-Marie, Neil, Stephen, James and Steve.
A much-loved Nanna to Emma, Chris, Sarah, Jon, Katie, Evie, Max, Florence and Olivia, and a treasured Great-Nanna to Mabli, Aurora, Osian and Elsie.
Gwen was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Her love, kindness and the precious memories she leaves behind will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
A funeral service to celebrate Gwen's life will take place at Denbighshire Crematorium, St Asaph, on Friday, 6th November 2026, at 1.00 pm. We invite everyone to wear a touch of red, her favourite colour.
Following the service, refreshments will be held at Bod Erw, The Roe, St Asaph. Everyone is warmly invited to join the family afterwards to share cherished memories and celebrate Gwen's life.

Donations in Gwen's memory will be gratefully received for The Lewy Body Society, helping to fund vital research and provide support to individuals and families affected by Lewy Body Dementia.
The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Bryn Marl Nursing Home for the exceptional kindness, care, dignity and compassion shown to Gwen during the final months of her life. Their warmth, dedication and gentle care brought comfort not only to Gwen but also to her family during such a difficult time. We will always be truly grateful for everything they did.
