The obituary notice of Angela Henrietta KNIGHT

Thank you to all those who were able to attend, either in person or in thoughts. Mum would have been very happy indeed.

Grandma bought me my first 2 cookbooks and made me an apron and oven gloves for my 9th or 10th birthday, and nearly 20 years on they are still part of my now much larger collection. Grandma started my love of food and cooking, and that is one of the things keeping me occupied in this time of social distancing and isolation.

Many, many fabulous memories of my Auntie Angela. Long summer days at Lubcloud were a highlight of my childhood. And Christmases at the farm were just perfect.

So much to thank her and my Uncle Brian for too. I failed to fully grasp it at the time. But the support they gave my mum, me and Liz after my dad died was extraordinary.

It is so sad that we cannot be there to say ‘goodbye’ to an amazing lady. I will always be thankful for having had her in my life.
