Over 20 years ago this tall long haired guy walked into our lives in West Cork in Ireland. His humour, stories and warmth soon became part of our lives. I got a new brother.
We soon bonded as men do through sport , in this case kayaking .
Paul and his girls , all of them have been in our lives it seems like always. I remember Paul smiling as he tried to negotiate the Liffey Descent kayak race he even medalled there.. Your running this river without me Paul but I know you will always be next to me.
Your Irish brother.

Paul showed so much resilience after his diagnosis, continuing to smile and joke, and enjoy his kayaking. Rest in peace, Paul.

A lovely man. The proud owner of one of my big paintings inspired by motorcycling. I had a lot of time for Paul, although we lost touch many years ago.
Rest in peace Paul x
