Stella ChristineLAKINStella sadly passed away on the 22nd of April 2025. Dearly loved and missed by her family and friends.

Her funeral service will be held at Christ Church, William Street, Herne Bay on Thursday 22nd May at 1:00pm, followed by a committal service at Herne Bay Crematorium, Bullockstone Road, at 2:00pm.

Those who attend are asked to wear something blue.

Stella supported her husband, Ron, through the difficult stages of living with dementia. The family therefore request that donations are made in memory of Stella to Alzheimer's Society to aid their research in finding a cure for all forms of dementia.

I am so lucky to have known you in my life for 55 years through family friendship since meeting your daughter Carole . You used to talk to my grandmother outside the school gates and share stories . Your patient , gentle support ,sound advice , kindness and generosity will never be forgotten and have been most appreciated over the years . We shared a lot in our chats over many cups of tea and biscuits , your home made cheesecakes remembered by many …. and have happy memories of family occasions . I shall miss you so much , Stella , and your welcoming smile and parting waves . I know you will now be reunited with your beloved Ron ….as it should be . Thank you Stella .All our love from
