Due to the current circumstances the service will be by invitation only, however anyone wishing to attend may contact the funeral directors to express their interest in attending if numbers allow. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Elizabeth's memory may send a cheque made payable to the Cats Protection League or the Stroke Association to Dafforn & Son, 6 New Street, Torrington, EX38 8BN Tel: 01805 622263

We’ve only just found out that our lovely Elizabeth Laurence died in October last year. Libby and I are so very sorry to hear about this loss, and will very much miss her when we come back to Marwood in May 2022. We send our best wishes to Benedict and Charles and the family. So sad. How we’ll miss her letters — the only one who used to send them by post, and so newsy. She and Peter were good friends of my uncle, Jimmy Smart. I loved seeing her and admired her spirit.
